About Me
My name is Giabella Fortino, I was born in Scottsdale Arizona. I am the oldest of 3 girls and enjoy music, food, shopping and watching my sisters’ sporting events. During the summer months I escape the heat with my family to Pinetop AZ where I get to play golf amongst the pine trees which is a very nice change from the desert courses of north Scottsdale.
On The Course
I fell in love with golf at the age of 11 and have been playing golf for 5 years. I am dedicated to improving my game. As Captain of the Desert Moutain High School golf team during my Junior year, I had the opportunity to lead and inspire my teammates fostering a sense of unity and positive team culture. With my sights set on both athletic and academic achievement, I am actively researching and reaching out to college golf programs that align with my aspirations.
Off the Course
Beyond the greens, I am a dedicated student looking forward to starting my college pursuit where I can continue my academic excellence in the field of business and marketing. I have maintained a strong academic record with a 3.766 GPA while balancing the demands of competitive golf. I also have a passion for community service through my High School Physics Club where I aim to make a positive impact on the lives of those around me.
